Pre-Intra-Post Conference Day

I've never been to an overseas conference and this time is a challenge to me cos... I'm presenting!! Representing my organization, i have to be confident and witty (to answer questions).
Then we have a cocktail reception at the observation tower. I was told not to miss it. There's a bird's eye view on the whole of Melbourne. The snacks served was nice not forgetting the free flow of alcohol (hehe..).
The unpleasant thing was, the locals weren't really as chatty when it comes to Asians like us. It was disappointing when the facilitator for my presentation didn't even turn up to introduce me to the audience. He apologized, 'yeah' but it just ain't polite. 'Sigh'.
